Christian Omari was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. During college, she spent two years at American University, where she received the majority of her theatre training. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2003, she has worked not only as an actress in a host of independent films, but also as a writer and producer.
In 2005, Christian wrote, starred and co-produced her first feature film, “View in Black in White” in 2005. Shortly thereafter, Christian entered the Fox Diversity Writing Program and began production on her first independent production, a pilot presentation called “Just Making It”. In addition to working on film and stage projects, Christian joined the executive board of the Los Angeles African-American Repertory Theatre Company, where she was responsible for producing small-scale stage productions, which targeted local community youth groups, schools and churches. In 2007, Christian also served as an associate producer at Nu-Lite Entertainment, where she learned how to make movies with modest budgets. In 2008, Christian produced her second feature film, a comedic murder mystery entitled, "Oh Snap! I'm Trapped in the House with a Crazy Lunatic Serial Killer!"
